Running of tractors in terms of hours	Parts needed to change
After running  tractor for30 Hours	Change primary and secondary diesel and oil filters, engine and hydraulic oil. Clean and fit pre air cleaner, change oil of oil bath filter and tight clumps, adjust engine slow speed at 750 rpm. tight fan belt, battery terminals, check water level of battery, check wiring and lights, check front axle bolts and nuts and steering box oil level, check clutch and brake system, check transmission and hydraulic system, grease the grease nipples.

After running  tractor for 1000 Hours	Change primary and secondary diesel and oil filters ,engine oil

How To Change Engine Oil

IT is very important to change engine oil timely to increase the life of tractor.

Check engine oil daily before starting the work and afterwards according to the schedule given up. There is one inlet from there you can check engine oil level by using dip stick with a marking on it from minimum to maximum.

If oil level is less. Make it fill by pouring engine oil from other outlet known as oil filler.

It is better to warm the engine oil by starting tractor to make the oil thin so that particles of iron and carbon can drain easily.

Open the drain plug installed beneath the engine pump and withdraw all oil.

Tight the plug beneath and by pouring engine oil from other outlet known as oil filler. Between minimum to maximum capacity.

Oil capacity in engine usually range from 6.8 liter to 7.5 liters

How To Check Water Level In Radiator

• Switch off the engine to check water in radiator. As in starting engine water of radiator is in boil form and by opening radiator cap it can damage the operator..
• Always use specified radiator cap for tractor as it has dual function of releasing the pressure of boiling water from tractor in running condition and also cool the water by letting in air when tractor engine is switched off.
• For cold areas use antifreeze solvent in radiator for easy operation of engine.

How To Change Diesal Filter Of Tractor

There are usually two filters installed in Massey Ferguson tractors made in Pakistan. Installed on left side of tractor.

The one with glass material made is called primary filter and the other is called secondary filter,

• Check primary filter if droplets of water, dirt are present, open the drain pipe and stop cock of diesel tank as well. Than close the stop cock of diesel tank.
• Open the filter body bolt with a tool. Replace the rubber rings with new ones, and install new diesel filter. And tighten the primary filter back on its fitting. And reopen cock stop of diesel.
• Use the same method to change secondary diesel filter.
• For oil filter open the filter with tool clean it with clean cloth and replace the old rubber rings with new ones.
• Fill the new filter with oil and tight back to original position.

How To Check And Change Hydraulic Oil

To check transmission oil check tractor shall be on smooth surface. And switch it off. Draw the Dip stick from beneath the driver seat and clean it with dry cloth. If it less fill it to complete it.

Filling of transmission oil also vary depending upon tractor usage. If we use tractor for cultivation for cultivator or for traction. Fill it to medium level. If have to use for front blade, front bucket etc. Fill it to maximum level.

• First oil shall be changed after 30 hours of usage.
• If not changed properly it can damage hydraulic system.
• Second hydraulic shall be changed after 600 hours of usage,
• Hydraulic oil capacity is approximately 33 to 42 liters.

How To Check Brake System

IN tractors two types of brakes are usually used..

• Mechanical brakes
• Hydraulic brakes

There is two pedal system of brakes. Right side pedal control right tire and inner pedal control left tire. When differential lock is on brakes work simultaneously.

Always check brake oil after 250 hours as minimum brake oil level can cause brake failure.
